Hmm... I think the trip to your parents might be about all he's up to handling just yet! ;)
But when he's out of the "Elmo" stage, THEN I'd say head to Mt. Rushmore. Or... you could always leave him with his Auntie & just drag the husband. :) That's always and option...
Although once you are at Mt Rushmore, as long as you have a comfortable way to carry bub around, it's pretty easy. A short walking path with some stairs takes you everywhere you need to go.

I like the sentiment behind this one. :)
And really, who HASN'T been to Mt. Rushmore?
(If the answer is you, GO. Go now! Do not wait! And take someone else who hasn't been!)
Yeah, Mt Rushmore is a must-see. The Black Hills of South Dakota are all-around a great place to visit.
I agree. It's a beatiful area. Makes for a fun road trip too. ;)
Is it fun for a 21 month old? I haven't been there...but I think the road trip won't be so much fun...just yet!

Is it ever too early to learn history?
Jimbo, you sound like my husband...are there more channels on TV besides The History Channel, Discovery channel and ESPN??
Disney? For his son of course. Because REALLY, he doesn't watch Jimmy Neutron for his OWN enjoyment or anything!
Not quite sure what you're getting at, Workingmom.
If I had the willpower I'd toss the tv out the window.
