I've been trying to find the right comment for this photo ALL day. I'm still not sure I have one other than to say that I think it's amazing.
Gorgeous, peaceful, and while you're alone, I don't get a sense of loneliness. I think that's what I like most about it.
And because I'm nosy (if you all haven't figured that out by now, we're in trouble), I'll also inquire as to where this one was taken? (I'm trying to plan my next vacation ;))
I would have been impelled to take this photo also as the lone stump in the foreground with the beautiful background and the sun to the left casting shadows has really framed the shot. I love the way photos can be broken into layers of sky, background and forground and this pic makes you look at allthree levels.

I rather like this one too. It would make a nice painting.

I took this on a vacation in Glacier National Park, Montana. It was a very peaceful place.
Glacier is a gorgeous park: too bad I missed this spot last time I was there!

I love this photo too.
Okay, you're all going to laugh at me, but when I first saw this photo I thought the stump was a person walking along the shore.
It might be a metaphorical shore-walking person.
I like the way that Scorpy broke it down into layers: that's cool.
Mallika, I too, kept thinking it wasn't a log. Or that it was out in the water. Not sure why, but I had to look carefully at it every time.
