Thanks Scorpy. This photo was taken going into Bryce National Park. We'd spent several days at Death Valley and a couple in Vegas and it had been hot weather... somewhere along the lines, I think we forgot that we were heading up into the mountains.
A word of warning to anyone else driving a POS rental car into the mountains end of March: when the road signs say "Semis, turn back now," pretend you're one of them. Your car cannot handle that amount of snow.
Wombat, I'm a little freaked out that you can read minds, as I'm pretty sure one of the two of us probably did say "But I packed for spring!" sometime that day! :)
