This photo made me a little dizzy when I first looked at it... :)
I like the photographer's existential statement here, that geologic iconography shouldn't be held captive to our vertical/horizontal world. Yes, I'm sure that's what he/she is saying.
Sorry to burst your bubble Wombat, but knowing this photographer, my guess is she was just being her crazy-self. I don't think there was any deep, hidden meaning. :)
