Reflections, 2

I love inanimate objects whose “actions” reflect my thoughts.

It's amazing isn't it, the creativity of people?

Who thinks to put a tortoise fountain in its own little grotto?

Fab.

This is actually one of three tortoises... and the overly ornate designers of the Biltmore Estate would be the ones who think to do such a thing if you can believe it. :)

Now where would I find the Biltmore Estate, Amanda?

It looks like a place I should visit.

Asheville, North Carolina is where you can find the Biltmore, Wombat, if you really feel you want to.

For information, visit http://www.biltmore.com/.

I don't know that I necessarily recommend the Biltmore... but I will say this: the gardens are beautiful, and the winery was fun too. It was just the "house" (ha! it's a little more than a house) I had issues with... could be the overly long time I spent going through it.

Hence the tagline for this photo: I had just finished coming through the Biltmore when I took it if that gives you any indication. ;)

My meghbour has a series of scupltured minature frogs among her garden and they are 'very' life like. It is amzing the talent some people possess.

To each is own, but I would have to say that THIS was my favorite part of the Biltmore. Then again, if you are going by yourself, on your own time table, and you don't have to worry about spending enough time in every room to satisfy everyone else, you might enjoy it.

Meghbour=neighbor, Scorpy?
