Summer ball

There's something about Seattle's late summer light at 'The Safe'
~ I love it, even if the Mariners lose.

That's a great picture. :)

I saw the Mariners play in their old stadium a couple of months before they moved out of it: Randy Johnson and Ken Griffey, Jr. That's been longer ago than I thought...

Amanda, that was the little lamented Kingdome! (It has been a while in that case.)

The Safe is a super place to watch baseball, what with the views of Puget Sound and downtown glowing in the afternoon sun.

That's the Seabirds' football stadium you can see in the background. Another first-rate place to watch sport.

Ah, Seattle, such a beautiful place.

I'll agree: it was a long time ago (you know how you say "a couple of years ago?" and then suddenly you realize it was more like 9 or 10?!?!) and Seattle is a gorgeous city.

And it's even sunny in the photo. ;)
