Wow, this is a super amazing photo.

Who, what, when, where, how?!?!

I need some details!

I'm in awe.

This was taken in Zimbabwe, just outside of Harare.

The folks who owned a cattle property had turned it into a dude ranch, with a White Rhino breeding and protection programme as part of the attraction.

I had never seen such strong cattle (rhino) yards as these. Those sturdy boys are strong!

Unhappily, the White Rhino was very nearly hunted to extinction.

Zimbabwe is on my list of "must see before I die" places. Victoria Falls is my ultimate dream.

That's a fab photo, Wombat.

Did you take your turn at feeding them? :)

Thank you Alice. Welcome.

You might think that these are all my photos. Not so!!!

Lots of very nice people, like Amanda, send me their photos, and we all get to share and learn a little along the way.

If I spoke Italian, I would say:

Send me some photos!

Maybe Amanda can translate into Spanish?!? That will be closer than my English, anyway.

We would love to see some snaps of your life in Italy.

It was a fabulous few days, Amanda. I didn't get to fed the bubby rhino - I was too scared, not skilled enough, and too scared. (In roughly that order.)

More folks are injured in southern Africa from rhino encounters than from any other animal.

Very big, very fast, very short tempered.

¡Mandeme algunas fotos, por favor!(con acento sobre la "a" en mandeme) is your Spanish translation, Wombat.

Mi italiano non c''e bene, ma...
Inviarmi alcune foto, per favore! is your rough, rough, ROUGH Italian translation.

We would love to see some snaps of your life in Italy.

Tenemos ganos de ver algunas fotos de su vida en Italia. (Spanish)

OR

Vorremmo vedere alcune foto di su vita nella Italia. (Italian... I think!)

Hope this helps! :)

Oh yeah, and welcome? ¡Bienvenido! (Spanish) and Benvenuto! (Italian).

Looks like it was quite the trip, Wombat! Too scared probably came from not being skilled enough. ;)
