My cat used to try and get in the fridge too... we shut it for a few seconds a time or two, and it never seemed to worry him. He'd saunter out when we opened it.
The time he tried to jump in the oven though, that was a different story... (yes, it was on).
It is funny what you can tell about a person from their refrigerator...I am assuming you don't do much cooking and you don't have kids. But I have to say the whole wheat Bucky tortillas are the best!

I love how they have NO FEAR. Of some things, anyway. (Vacuum cleaners are a notable exception.)
