I love you, my tabby girl, because you let me love you unconditionally.

The expression on her face is quite mischievous in that picture. :)

That's because she knows there are no consequences for anything she does other than continuing food, love, petting and 24/7 attention.

And I think I'm the fortunate one.

This is Moneypenny by the way. She loves James Bond, but tolerates me as a poor substitute.

Although I do drink martinis, shaken, not stirred.

I finally got to see the elusive Moneypenny! You should be careful, you know -- one day she might decide to go after James Bond and you'll find a "Dear Wombat" letter on your pillow. (I'm teasing, of course. I'm sure she thinks you're just as cool as Bond.)

And I agree, those who are owned by cats are very fortunate.

Wombat, is she the spoiled one, or are you?

I asked myself that many, many times with my cat. :) To this day, I'm still not sure of the answer...

Amanda, you have hit upon the cat fancier's conundrum.

I wonder the same thing myself, and never seem to reach a conclusion. No, that's not true. I'm the lucky one.

I'll have to find a better shot of her, and introduce Miss T-Tail, my tortoise girl to the world.

I'm SO lucky.

Another fellow-cat spoiler. Nice to meet you. :) She's a doll: I'll look forward to seeing more photos of her!

How long ago did she adopt you?

Yes, Amanda, she is a doll, here purring and attempting to lie on the keyboard as I write.

I rescued Moneypenny and Miss T-Tail from death row nine years ago in Sydney. So they are very well-travelled babies.

Not that they enjoyed any of that plane business, but they sure like the fact that I work from home and relish serving them pretty much all the time.

How can you live without a cat or three? Mallika's is a two-cat family too. She has some fantastic photos of her two boys on her blog.

It's tough for me to live without a cat to be honest: my baby was 12 years old when he died. He used to climb on my keyboard and type for me all the time too. :) We once had a little issue with the mouse though and his neck, so he backed off for a day or two. ;)

My parents still have a few and they are always offering me them, but I'm living in a place right now that I can't have a cat, so... I'm living vicariously through all of the people who are putting adorable photos of their cats on this site. :) There are a lot of cat lovers on here!

I'm going to have to check out Mallika's page to see her babies. :)

Btw, a good travel buddy is invaluable: cats that have seen the world are wonderful indeed!
