I think sometimes enjoying the unexpected things in our lives is more important than those that we plan and struggle for.

Now, after saying that, I'm going to admit to some major jealousy as I struggle greatly to get a sunflower to grow. ;) And then a kitten killed it, so... I haven't tried to grow one again. Enjoy yours for me!

I will enjoy it for you. I was so surprised to find it fully grown on the back side of my garage, because I go back there so infrequently. I just relocated some mulch there from my front yard, and the seed must have been in the mulch. What a happy surprise it was.
