Okay, I just have to say that I was thinking about this photo, and I'm wondering... who just happens to have a photo of a wombat lying around? Or is that as common in Australia as my having a photo of a squirrel here is?
Wombat - You're just afraid that everyone would then submit photos of the Love Revealed web site with your photo on it. ;)
And btw, what world are you living in that the internet is pristine? Oh wait, LR. :) Remember though, photos of people, places or things that you love can only increase the happiness of your blog readers. :)
I guess to survive all the Qtips you've have to have a good survival instinct to make it out of a restaurant without having all the old women (and a few old men who can't see very well well) feeling you up... can't be upset about that! ;)
However, anytime you'd like to post a photo, you're faithful audience would be OH SO HAPPY to see one... and really Wombat, isn't that what this blog is about? Making us all a little happier? You'd brighten otherwise dreary days... :( Think of the potential you have to uplift some spirits... now isn't that worth a few minutes in a trap? ;)
Ah, but as we've now seen by the photo of the darling wombat here, sometimes, it just happens, no matter how much you're trying to avoid the camera... ;)
I'm unwilling to believe there are no photos of you... ;)
So... remember my saying that if at least 15 other people sent in a photo saying that they loved "Love Revealed" we could get somewhere?
Well... there is a certain photo that THE Wombat can't WAIT to have taken down... and while I don't have a photo of a Wombat, I now have a photo of a photo of a Wombat. ;)
So my encouragement to all is to 1. take a photo of the post that Wombat is SO eager to see gone & send that in, with a message saying something along the lines of how you'd like to see a photo of THE Wombat 2. if you happen to be one of those rare people who has a wombat photo, send it in 3. post a regular message on the top of the page about how you'd love to see a photo of THE Wombat, because it would make your day and that's what this site is about and finally, 4. if one of you out there DOES happen to have a photo of THE Wombat, send it in!
Think that'll work Daisy? ;) Anyone else who has ideas, feel free to help out! :-)

Thank you.
You're welcome!
oh finally we get to see wot a wombat looks like (hee hee)
What A Wombat looks like, yes, but not THE Wombat. ;)
I imagine The Wombat is way better looking than this. At any rate, I'm guessing he has opposable thumbs!
I'm guessing you're right Daisy! :) On both accounts. ;)
*looks at paws, wondering what opposable thumbs are*
:)
Nice try Wombat.

That is a good point, Amanda.
Of course I have albums full of them, but not this one.
I.E. albums full of photos of yourself? ;)
Seriously though, do you see them everywhere or are they a rare occurance? Please educate me!
Wombats are very shy, and don't like living near humans. Luckily for them there is lots of wide open space in Australia, so they are mostly fine.
Those claws are very powerful, used for digging their underground burrows.
This is fun info re: my family.
Or cut and paste this;

Sweet! Thanks for the pages! :)I've enjoyed my education!! It was pretty brief, but I plan on looking at the information more in depth later today.
So you're shy, and don't like living near other people... how's Florida working out for ya? ;)
Well the ground is much softer here than in my native land.
And the portion sizes are larger.
oh ffs wombat! Go on...post a pic of yourself. I DARE ya (grins)
hmmm... this could be interesting...
ffs? Not sure what that means.
Are we playing Truth or Dare?
Nah, I don't want to spoil the pristine internet with a pic of me.
Nice try though.

My god Amanda......i do believe you just cornered wombat!
That was my goal. ;)
Cornered, but not captured.
Damn. Saw right through that trap didn't you? ;)
Survival instinct.

...dragging leg out of Wombat trap...close call...
Finding others' happiness and showing it is my forte, Amanda.
Remember, I'm shy and mostly nocturnal. All the photos of me are like "I Love Nothing", above. I'm a fast mover when the camera's out.
Anon.
I shan't be dignifying your slander with an answer, my dear.
Pussy. Hah!
The Wombat motto:
Eats, roots, shoots, and leaves.
*stands erect, imagines Wombat anthem*
lol

Share the love Wombat, share the love...
*whistling*
All I have to do is wait a few days and this post falls off the bottom of the page.
*continues whistling*
Oh that's what you think... ;)
I've got a plan...
Btw Wombat, speaking of posts falling off the bottom of pages, how come there isn't a "previous posts" section? *raised eyebrow*
*raised eyebrow noted*
Amanda, the three decisions I made were:
1. A clean sidebar is important, so the fewer elements the better. Therefore the "Recent Posts" list was ditched.
2. Because photos can sometimes take a long time to load, I wanted to limit the current page to a week's worth of pics.
3. If anyone's keen to see everything, it's still available in the archives, which I have coyly christened "Past Loves".
Any suggestions you have will be gratefully accepted.
Ahhhhhh... and this is why your blog is so wonderful: you're much smarter about that stuff than I am!
However, I see you're still a little trapped then... foots not cleanly out of the trap QUITE yet ;)
*eyebrow's back down now* :-)
I would like to add my two cents in saying that I also would like to see a picture of The Wombat. Amanda, do you think we can corner him?
I do Daisy. :)
I need a little help, but I think it can be done.
