no kidding Amanda. I try to get up there every year for the Fair and for Summerfest. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. I do have family there so I get to Milwaukee pretty often.
You know, it's not quite 3 pm and I'm really thinking a beer and cheese curds sounds great...
You'll want to hit me DC, but I've never been to Summerfest. I know, I know, how is that possible right? Well, this was the first summer in four that I've lived in WI at the time, so that could be a good start. :)
However, you can tell them you know a few Wisconsinites who are trying to further educate people through photos and commentary about what a cultural wonderland Wisconsin is.
Oh, yeah, and that they have great beer and cheese, too.
Though we're going to need a better word than "hostage." It sounds so nasty, and we're super nice and sweet and just want their money. No nasty conotations allowed.

I don't know if these go with coffee, but as I sit here with my morning cuppa, the idea of some fresh curds is really starting to appeal.
With what should I be eating these?
(I have an idea of the answer.)
They are best with poutine. Cheese curds are pretty fantastic.
What do you think the answer is? Then I'm sure a few of us will let you know. :)
I was going to say The Beast, Amanda, but now I've discovered what Poutine is, that is my choice.
Oh, boy, what I'd do for some poutine and cheese curds about now.
Thanks Rach, I learn new stuff every day around here.

Hey, Rach, maybe you could send us a photo of some poutines. You know, share the joy a little.
The beast, is, of course, the only correct answer. ;)
I'll bring some fresh curds to Memphis for you.
mmmm.. "squeaky cheese" as my siblings and I used to call it when we were younger. I haven't had any in years!
I like mine, straight from the Wisconsin state fair, with a giant cream puff and miller light! :)
It's a shame you don't live in Wisconsin any more, DC. :)

DC Chick and Amanda, I am going to send the Wisconsin Office of Tourism a proposal that they sponsor us here.
All money received goes to road trips, blogger lollapaloozas and general partying. (Less costs.)
You know, Wombat, I think that's a great idea!
Only Wisconsin-made beer and cheese would be allowed to be consumed, but really, what else do you need anyway?
Wombat, I love that idea!!! I could use a good bloggerpaloosa with Wisconsin beer and cheese!
Where do I sign up?
I'm thinking you sign up right here, DC?
Put me on the list too.
Beer and cheese? OMG, I'm there too!!
Right then, all that remains is for me to get the sponsorship.
I'll let you know how that goes, folks.
Does anyone have any influence here?

Alas, Wombat, I fear not.
However, you can tell them you know a few Wisconsinites who are trying to further educate people through photos and commentary about what a cultural wonderland Wisconsin is.
Oh, yeah, and that they have great beer and cheese, too.
Should I help draft a campaign proposal for you?
I used to know very influential people in Wisconsin... 15 years ago.
I'll see what I can do. :)
Draft proposal? I was thinking more of storming their offices and demanding cash.
Perhaps your way, Amanda, with DCC's influence would be more productive.
Well, all I have to say is this, Wombat: if you decide to storm the offices, may I recommend taking beer and cheese in with you?
It's not really bribery: it's feeding them over breakfast. ;)
Good tip, Amanda. Hold them hostage to their weaknesses.
Then get them to commit to the money.
You're catching on Wombat. :)
